What are the dates of the 2019 PEI Fall Flavours Festival?

Where does the PEI Fall Flavours take place?
The PEI Fall Flavours Festival features over 30 events and adventures that take place in communities across Prince Edward Island. Please refer to the specific event pages for location information.
What happens in the case of rain or other inclement weather?
While our Signature and Culinary events are designed with the possibility of inclement weather in mind, those that are outdoors will happen rain or shine! All event tickets are non-refundable. In some instances, a Culinary Adventure may need to be canceled or rescheduled due to weather. In these cases, the tour operator will work directly with you to arrange a refund or reschedule your adventure.
Is there a dress code
We keep things pretty casual on PEI, so there’s no dress code to worry about. Above all, we want you to be comfortable – whether that means dressing up a bit or staying in your daywear is up to you! Due to the variety of event venues and times, please the individual event page for specific suggestions to maximize your comfort. Please note, we always encourage you to wear comfortable shoes when attending walk-around tasting events and to layer up when attending outdoor events.
When will Festival tickets go on sale?
Tickets to the Festival will be launched in April 2020. The PEI International Shellfish Festival tickets will go on sale at the end of March 2020. Stay tuned for more details.
How much are tickets to the PEI Fall Flavours Festival?
Tickets to Festival events generally range from $20-$150 per person, but ticket prices vary depending on the type of event or adventure you choose to attend. Please see the specific event page for more details on ticket pricing.
Can I buy tickets at the door?
For the large majority of events, tickets cannot be purchased at the door, with the notable exception of the PEI International Shellfish Festival day and weekend passes. Tickets to all Festival events are available online at <fallflavours.ca>. During the Festival, you will be able to continue to purchase tickets online (unless events are sold out). Events do sell out quickly, so we encourage you to purchase your tickets in advance!
Are gratuities included in the ticket price or additional?
Depending on the event, gratuities are built into the ticket price and it is up to you if you wish to provide an additional gratuity to your server/bartender. For our Culinary Adventures and Restaurant Program, gratuities are not typically built into the ticket price and tipping your tour guide or server is at your discretion.
Are there waitlists for sold-out events?
Unfortunately, we are unable to create a waitlist for any of our events. We do our best to give a heads up on social media when an event is close to selling out or if additional tickets for a sold out event become available. What is the PEI Fall Flavours Festival refund policy?
All ticket purchases are final.
Can I bring my child?
Some Festival events are suitable for children, while others are not. We recommend the following family favourites: The Great Island Grilled Cheese Challenge, Farm Day in the City and the PEI International Shellfish Festival (before 7pm). Other Culinary Events and Culinary Adventures may also be suitable for children. Please check the specific event page for more details.

Where Should I stay?
The official host hotel of the PEI Fall Flavours Festival is The Holman Grand, a gorgeous boutique hotel located in the heart of downtown Charlottetown. Take advantage of excellent rates and enjoy the convenience of shuttle pick-ups and drop-offs at the hotel for some events (additional shuttle fees apply).
Which airport should I fly into for the Festival?
The Charlottetown airport (YYG) is your best option for arrival/departure from PEI. With direct flights from/to Ottawa, Toronto, Montreal and Halifax, as well as several daily flights to other Canadian and US destinations, the airport offers convenience and a stress-free experience.
Can I volunteer?
Yes! There are volunteer opportunities with some of our biggest Festival events, including the PEI International Shellfish Festival and Farm Day in the City and we are always looking for new and enthusiastic volunteers! Send us an email and we’ll hook you up with the volunteer coordinator for an event that suits your style and schedule.
