A fun-filled food tour through historic downtown Charlottetown with several mouth-watering stops to enjoy along the way.

  • Stop at 5 tasty locations in downtown Charlottetown
  • Tour around with a personable local guides who love to share the cities hidden gems with visitors
  • Learn about the role PEI played in the formation of Canada and walk historic Great George St.
  • Meet some of the characters that make our city so special
  • See first hand why we have been named “Canada’s Food Island”

 

True Island characters and great stories

Your local guide will tell you all about our capital city and the people who played key roles in the development of our Nation. You will stroll along the historic Great George St. where you will see our stunning Bascillica and the colourful Great George Hotel.

Good food is who we are

In between tasting stops, you will learn about the positive effects of food, and food production has had on the development of the Prince Edward Island economy. We are confident your taste buds will be buzzing at each and every stop.

Bookings need to be made 24 hours in advance of the desired date in order to guarantee a spot.

A minimum of 2 people must book in order for this experience to take place.

Some locations have stairs and are not accessible to persons with reduced mobility.

We will do our best to accommodate any allergies or food restrictions.

This tour runs rain or shine. Umbrellas can be provided upon request.

The legal drinking age on PEI is 19+. Accommodations can be made for those under the legal age.

Easy 2.5 km stroll with brief rest periods.

 

Stop 1: Rawsome Juice Bar – Energy ball, a taster of Kombucha

Stop 2: Kettle Black – Small Coffee and pastry made with Island ingredients (sausage and cheese)

Stop 3: The Gahan House – Share plate of mussels and a pint of beer or non-alcoholic substitute

Stop 4: The Chip Shack – Share plate of fries

Stop 5: Oyster and small lobster roll
